Type anywhere in Malayalam language

How is it if one program or web app can convert the typed words in Latin characters the way it sounds and replace the language to its native script?

Well, Google’s Transliteration IME can do it. Google’s Transliteration IME is a type in method editor which help the users to type in text in one of the 22 supported languages using a normal keyboard.
The important thing is you need not to be ONLINE to get it working. It works in offline too.
Note that this is not the same as translation – it is the sound of the words that is converted from one alphabet to the other, not their substance.
22 different languages are supported for the time being and they are – Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi (Persian), Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Sinhalese, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya and Urdu.
You need Requires Windows 7/Vista/XP to install Google’s Transliteration IM.
Follow the steps below to make your PC ready to use Malayalam Ready – both offline and online
  1. Visit this page http://www.google.com/ime/transliteration/
  2. Select your language
  3. Press the Download Google IME button
  4. .exe file named “googlemalayalaminputsetup.exe” will be downloaded soon
  5. Install it. Once the installation is over then
  6. Open Control panel“Regional & Language Options
  7. Go to the tab ” keyboards and languages”
  8. Click on “change keyboard” button
  9. change to malayalam keyboard while using windows

  10. Go to the last tab “advanced key settings”
  11. Select Google Malayalam input and click “change key sequence” button
  12. Then Click on “Apply” and “OK”

After completing the above 11 steps you will see a language bar option at the Task Bar, so when ever you want to change the type in Language you need to click on this icon near the system clock and select the desired language.

Once you finish the above steps, you can type in using Malayalam Language without any trouble.
