Owned by the Government of Kerala, BEVCO( Kerala State Beverages Corporation Limited ) is a public sector company  which has a the only authorised company to sell Alcohol over wholesale and retail vending in Kerala. BEVCO controls the sale of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and beer in the state of Kerala. The facilities provided by them for the customers are next to nil. Customers are being treated as animals or criminals at the long line of liquor enthusiasts.
