Although not yet launched commercially, Reliance Jio started its 4G mobile services all over India during 2015 December. But it was only for their employees. Â Now (since May 2016), you can get a 4G sim when you buy a LYF phone; and anybody can enjoy the high speed data for free for a duration of 3 months.

Giving below some speed test results done from a small palakkad village, where the previously achieved highest data speed was 4mbps using 3G services .

The above given test results are done during the last week ( June 2016 ) . Although the speeds are not always at the 60s or 70s, we always get a speed of about 25-35 mbps.
