Does Traffic Exchange Programs Really Worth The Trouble?
It's been several months now since I've been promoting my website all over the Net and, having a extremely tight budget, I'm using most of the free tools available on the Web. A couple of months ago, as I was machinally surfing on the Net with my Traffic Swarm account, I ask myself if using these traffic exchange programs really worth all this time invested. As a young online marketer, I'm happy to see there are full of free and very useful resources to promote my website, but does traffic exchange programs really worth the trouble?
Habitually, when you register to theses TE programs, you agree to surf on websites that will introduce you to various business opportunities, marketing programs and promotional tools. By doing this, you win credits and you can use them to show your site(s) to other members, and hopefully convince them to join your downline. When you refer people to sign up for the traffic exchange, you will earn a percentage of the credits they earn. However, most members are using theses programs only to be able to promote their website; they aren't paying attention about any other pages. Of course, you'll receive a lot of visitors on your website, but what's the point of using this free system if nobody cares about what you have to offer?
Well, "most members" won't pay attention to your site, but some of them will. While they're using TE's, some members are also looking for other free programs to join and resources to consult - especially the new and inexperimented users - so you have to offer them what they want. However, you should keep in mind that if your page doesn't instantly grab the surfer's attention, they'll probably won't stay longer than 15 - 30 seconds (depending of the TE program policy) and they'll just switch to another page. So if you want to refer lots of people, you'll have to be creative!

How To Get Web Site Traffic
Web site traffic is essential to having a thriving online business. You cannot have enough web site traffic (visitors) unless it is the wrong traffic or you do not want to continue to build your business. Your chances of selling a product or service is proportional to the level of targeted and qualified web site traffic to your site. It is not an easy task getting the right kind of web site traffic to your site. You do not get this web site traffic without expending your time, energy and sometimes hard-earned money.
Content for Coders
The one thing that any new Webmaster hears when searching for tips on how to improve their site is this: Content is King. And its true; good, high quality content is what gets other people interested in your site, and makes other webmasters link to you. However to me at least there is always far to much focus on what could be termed 'online' content rather than the other sort, which can often yield as many, if not more, high quality one-way inbound links.
Build Links, Build Business
Increasing your online business hinges on your ability to optimize your web page for the search engines. While different search engines look for different things, some of the larger and more popular search engines such as Google and Yahoo, look for keywords and links. Keywords are important because the Internet is made up of words; however links are just as important because they allow the search engines to weigh your web page in terms of popularity, so to speak.

"How do I get more traffic to your site?" That's the eternal question. Or to be more precise, "How do I get more targetted traffic to my pages, people who are going to be interested in what I have to offer?"

What is One Thing a Home Business Entrepreneur Should be Constantly Working Towards?
We will begin this topic with one assumption, that our home business comprises selling through a website. Meaning we are website owners. In which case, we may want to manage our website ourselves or hire someone to manage it for us. In either option, it is in our interest to know what goes into making our home business a success or what we are paying for to achieve success at it.
TARGET PRACTICE - Generating The Website Traffic That Matters
But a mere increase in the volume of website traffic is not the end all and be all of a successful marketing campaign online.
