Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary<\/strong> is one of the best places to go if you vist Kerala<\/strong>. \u00a0Now there are more reasons to visit Parambikulam . 2 days ago, on the 2nd of September 2008, \u00a0the santuary launched a Wildlife safari service<\/strong> for the tourists. There are 4 Tempo traveller vehicles which can carry a total of 44 tourists.<\/p>\n

It was noticed that considerable disturbances were caused to the sanctuary because of the day visitors and their vehicles. So for the better management of the sanctuary private vehicles will be stopped plying in to the sanctuary from 2nd September, 2008 onwards.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The safari will take about 3 hours and it will pass through the following areas of Parambikula wildlife sanctuary .<\/p>\n

    They are charging Rupees 140 per person <\/strong>for the Wildlife safari.<\/div>\n

    The project is a joint venture of Kerala Forest Department, Tourism Department and the seven Eco Development Committees performing under Parambikkulam Forest Development Agency.<\/div>\n
    The only concern for us here is, the choice of vehicles, instead of this tempo traveller<\/a><\/strong>, with its very small windows, they should have opted for any other vehicles which can give the tourists a better view of the forest around them.<\/div>\n
