A natural cause for the teeth becoming yellow is aging. As the enamel gets thinner when people get older, the teeth lose its natural whiteness and tend to become yellow. Apart from this, intake of certain medicines, eating certain type of food, consumption of large quantities of tea and coffee and smoking can cause stain on your teeth and make your teeth yellow. Improper oral hygiene is an important cause for yellow teeth. It is better to avoid foods that cause stain, and when you consume such foods, make sure you brush your teeth immediately.
