How is it if one program or web app can convert the typed words in Latin characters the way it sounds and replace the language to its native script?

Well, Google’s Transliteration IME can do it. Google’s Transliteration IME is a type in method editor which help the users to type in text in one of the 22 supported languages using a normal keyboard.
The important thing is you need not to be ONLINE to get it working. It works in offline too.
Note that this is not the same as translation – it is the sound of the words that is converted from one alphabet to the other, not their substance.
22 different languages are supported for the time being and they are – Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi (Persian), Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Sinhalese, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya and Urdu.
You need Requires Windows 7/Vista/XP to install Google’s Transliteration IM.
Follow the steps below to make your PC ready to use Malayalam Ready – both offline and online
